Recently completed - this Scandi / Mid-Century Modern Oak dining table
Handcrafted in my workshop in Bristol, I’ve recently completed this large dining table. Made from solid oak, the table top measures 2m x 1m and it will seat up to 8 diners comfortably.
This was designed and made as a bespoke commission for a family that wanted to normally seat 6 around the table, but have the option of seating 8 on occasion, without the need to pull out leaves or add extension pieces. They also have a nice family-size table to use for other activities, in between meals.
The frame underneath the table has been specifically designed without a rail around the table top perimeter, in order to allow more space for legs when sitting at the table.
